USES
Treatment for abscesses, bilious conditions, cancer, cough, debility, dyspepsia and strangury : Roselle drink can be made by placing the calyx in water.
Soothing cough : Use the mucilaginous leaves as an emollient
Treatment for hypertension and inflammatory conditions : Consume as tea.
treatment of sores and wounds : Apply powdered roselle to the area. Powder by using a blender and blend on low and slowly word up to high. Add a teaspoon of arrowroot to prevent stickiness.
Treatment for epilepsy : Tea from crushed leaves soaked in water is taken orally.
Treatment for gastrointestinal disorders, liver diseases, fever, hypercholesterolemia and hypertension : A simple beverage made from the roselle's calyces can treat these issues. Simply add into a juice or a smoothie and consume on it's own as a concentrated juice.
